Good to see LL back!

I've been wondering --- is web 2.0 the adolescence of the internet? A time of scope and honing skills rather than just raw growth?

Tough to say where 2.0 falls in the life cycle of the invention.

I, too, was at John's funeral. Simply devastating. I was at John and Izzy's wedding - the youngest one there, barely walking. Can't believe he is gone.

Dear "Lost",

Might I suggest a quick perusal at Amazon.com? There are loads of very reasonably priced books (under $5) on the topic of "Marriage and Humor" - although I think your wife could probably write a book of her own on this topic. Shipping is often free in the continental US - would GuadaLaHabra qualify?
If this doesn't appeal to you, then I'd say go for cheap jewelry - which is also abundant at Amazon. I found a cute "I heart my husband" pendant for only $3.99! And with your wife being so festiduious in her grooming and hygene, I'm sure her neck won't turn green from the metal reaction for several months at least.

Best of luck to you!
-Leapin'

...and for those who are completed confused, rest assured I do know "Lost", and is the person responsible for encouraging the first date between he and my darling best friend 'lo these 10+ years ago...

LOL I hear you!
What about cooperation? Teamwork? These are concepts they teach my son in preschool, and I feel like lots of librarians and IT folks alike have forgotten those lessons. Can't we all just get along... and get ourselves to a point where we can listen to one another, think outside of the job description box, and see the value in collaboration? Two heads are better than one and other such cliches...

As for learning from one another... I think the "experts" have a lot to learn from the "non-experts"- especially when it comes to designing services that should appeal to the general public.
